The Poised Girl Academy
At The Eastern School of Etiquette (ESE), we believe every girl deserves the opportunity to become confident, emotionally intelligent, purpose-driven, and prepared for life.
Our youth programs are designed to develop the whole young lady—from the inside out. While etiquette is the tool we use, transformation is the outcome. We help girls cultivate inner poise, strengthen their character, build healthy confidence, develop emotional intelligence, and communicate with grace in every area of life.
Guided by our signature POISED™ Framework—Presence, Order, Intention, Self, Expression, and Distinction—girls ages 8–17 learn the essential life skills needed to navigate friendships, school, leadership opportunities, social situations, and future careers with confidence, wisdom, and authenticity.
Our programs go far beyond teaching manners.
We help girls discover who they are, develop the confidence to make wise decisions, communicate with respect and clarity, lead with integrity, and present the best version of themselves to the world.

The Poised Girl Academy
The Poised Girl Academy is the Eastern School of Etiquette's signature youth development experience designed to cultivate confident, emotionally intelligent, and purpose-driven young ladies. More than an etiquette program, this comprehensive academy develops the whole young lady—equipping her with the mindset, life skills, and confidence to thrive in school, relationships, leadership opportunities, and everyday life.
Grounded in ESE's signature POISED™ Framework—Presence, Order, Intention, Self, Expression, and Distinction—the Academy provides a transformational journey that develops both inner character and outward confidence. Through nine interactive workshops, girls strengthen emotional intelligence, communication skills, leadership abilities, social awareness, personal presence, and authentic self-expression while learning to navigate life's opportunities with wisdom, confidence, and grace.
Each workshop builds upon the previous one, creating a meaningful progression that encourages personal growth, intentional decision-making, healthy relationships, resilience, and leadership. Rather than simply teaching etiquette, The Poised Girl Academy empowers young ladies to understand who they are, appreciate their unique value, and confidently become the best version of themselves.
The Academy concludes with a celebratory graduation luncheon where participants are recognized for their commitment, personal growth, and accomplishments. Surrounded by family and supporters, each young lady receives a certificate of completion, celebrating an important milestone in her journey toward becoming a poised, confident, and purpose-driven young lady.
